chomijiI should go to bed. We spent hours at the Maryland Renaissance Faire, and hours playing D&D, and my shoulders and neck hurt for some reason.
But right now I'm going to do this meme, which I ganked from meganbmoore:

From Hellburner, by C.J. Cherryh, which was lying on my desk about 4 inches from my left hand because I've been writing a huge, rambling LJ entry about it, in bits and pieces, for more than a month.

Date: 2008-10-06 03:38 pm (UTC)The only problem is that it's really a sequel - to Heavy Time, which is not a bad book, but I just don't love it as much. But if you read Hellburner first, you will miss out a certain amount of Ben's background, and you will also be utterly spoiled for Heavy Time.
A one-volume omnibus edition of both was issued as Devil to the Belt a couple of years ago.
