So Far So Good for telophase

Quick update for anyone who'd glommed on to telophase's situation yesterday ... .

As you may recall, our intrepid heroine was stuck here on the ground in the Washington, DC, area after a library conference, because of the American Airlines plane fiasco (in which a large part of their fleet was grounded for inspection after discovery of a serious electrical fault).

I managed to rendezvous with her at a Metro station halfway between the airport and our home. So she got to drag her laptop through Old Town Takoma, have a Chinese dinner out, and get a shower, a night's sleep, and breakfast. I took her with me on the Metro in the morning when I left for work, and when last seen, she was heading for the airport, to spend the day ensuring that she had a flight out tonight. Supposedly she does have a reservation.

But GAH I am tired of all of this.
