You should have recognized the postcard there on the fridge!
Now that you've seen the interior of the house, I can explain some things I was saying about it with the snow pictures. Those dark wood post-and-lintel doorways in the living room? Completely odd for this style of house. That's only the top 2 shelves of that bookcase: may father made it to fit a specific narrow space in my childhood home - it's almost 2m tall. You won't be sur[rised to hear that's only 1 of many many bookcases ....
I did see it, but I couldn't remember how it looked like, so I wouldn't say anything. but i did notice that you were wearing the bracelet^^ Your house is cute on the inside too. I like it when things are a bit out of the general style, give personaliy...
The rest of the house is a mess ... I try to keep the living room fairly tidy so people have a place to sit if they drop by. The Mr. and I both like quirky stuff, so there's a lot of it. And yes, I wear the bracelet almost all the time - it reminds me that people care, and that makes me happy, and I figure it's good for my health. (You can also see I have rings on both hands: the left one is the wedding ring, which was his grandmother's, because we couldn't really afford a ring when we got married, and the right one is the ring he bought me for our 15th anniversary, which is actually another wedding ring - we say it's the one we would have bought if we'd had the money back then.)
heh, my appartment is a mess too. but that's 'cause t's too small... you know, I think I'll sen dyou a new bracelet next year, if they make them again.
(My cat is so used to me taking photos of her that when she hears teh little beep as it focuses, she turns her head away so I won't flash in her eyes. XD Makes it harder to get good photos of her now.)
The detail is good enough that you can see that Brownie really needs her nails trimmed. I hate doing it, because they're dark and it's easy to cut them too close, and then I feel like a monster bunny maimer.
I like having Yuuko up there. She has all kinds of interesting neighbors. In the living room picture, that thing over the fireplace is an original Tomie dePaola kid's book illustration... there's a gallery near where we stay in Cape Cod that has his stuff. And there's our junk shop Erte print, which I forgot to put into the same set as the others when I uploaded it, but it's there now.
You have a fireplace! That's so awesome :) And your bunnies are so, so cute, they make me want to pet them throught the picture (they look so soft ^_^)
Yeah, but we don't use the fireplace because we keep forgetting to have a chimney sweep company out to check it over and make sure it's safe! (Silly, I know.)
Yes, they are very very soft bunwuns. Brownie is a mini-rex, so she is especially soft and downy. Rabbits have a triple-layer coat, and she's missing the long guard hairs that are (relatively) the un-softest. (Her coat probably wouldn't shed rain properly.)
