What have you just finished reading?
Among Others by Jo Walton (yes, i found it!). I really enjoyed the first seven eighths of it, and then it sort of petered out. I should do a proper writeup of it sometime.
What are you currently reading?
I have started re-reading The Killing Moon by N.K. Jemisin.
What do you think you'll read next?
Something for a writing project (that shall go un-named for now), and then, clearly, I should re-read The Shadowed Sun by Jemisin.

Date: 2013-05-23 11:41 am (UTC)It's a fantasy and a school story, about a Welsh girl with physical disabilities (her leg was badly injured in an auto accident) who gets sent away to boarding school in England. She gets harassed because of her limp, her accent, and her Russian-sounding surname. She can see and talk to fairies, and her mother is a witch who hates her ... and she loves SF&F. In many ways, it's a book about how shy geeky people survive their teens with the help of books. Some have called it a "love letter to science fiction."
