Hello New Friends!

I still consider myself something of an LJ novice, so I'm not sure whether anyone does what I'm doing here ... but I've noticed several new friends recently, and I don't know who they are. (BTW, I'm not talking about smillaraaq, whom I ran into on oyceter and telophase's LJs, or redbrunja, whom I met through smillaraaq, or pariyal, who is from the DWJ mailing list ... .)

So hello, you folks, and if you feel like saying why you started tracking me, I'd enjoy it, because it lets me know what I'm doing right, and will perhaps encourage me to do more of it.

:D I periodically post a "Hi! Who are you and what are you doing here?" post, just to see who's shown up and why. XD

Friending me seems to go in spells, though: there will be a period of time when I've got new LJ friends popping out of the woodwork, and then dry spells, like the one I'm in now, where nobody new friends me at all. :D

I friended you for a very simple reason: chomiji told me to. I'm obedient that way. I tend to get a random friending everyweek or two(though I did get about 10 immediately after one icon dump, only to have them unfriend me when that show wasn't the only thing I ever talked about)

Hee! XD I get people wandering through and friending, then shortly afterward wandering off again once they realize how much I actually post. (Or maybe they leave when I don't automatically friend them back - I've got too many people watching me at the moment that if I *did* do that, I'd never have any time to do anything! But since I used to friend everyone back, I feel horribly guilty about it. :D)

How could I possibly be scared off by how much anyone posts, given how much I post(I've never understood that, anyway...if a person posts on something you don't care about, just be friends with Mr. Page Down....it's what I do-rarely-and what I assume others do)

I fret about the friend-back thing, too. Especially when I look at the person's LJ and don't see a lot that looks familiar ... . That's part of the reason I asked ... but so far no one has answered but two very familiar (and always welcome) girlfriends ... .

(I guess very once in a while the Leo Sun in me gets out of hand ... meanwhile the Libra ascendant is wringing its hands with embarrassment ... .)

Well, yes, I'm an Earth Dog (although that's certainly not the only reason I sympathize with Shigure in Furuba). I also have both my Moon and Venus in Cancer, making me a soppy mess emotionally. You're much closer to the Virgo cusp than I am, but I have Mercury in Virgo (its own sign), giving me just that much more nit-picky goodness ... .
