Testing Spoiler Code

vierran45 reports that her usual spoiler code method no longer works in comments to a post. I tried mine in comments on her LJ - she was right. I want to try it here one more time before turning in a problem report to LJ Support.
ETA: It's all too true - it applies to styles at both P and SPAN level, and I would assume, to all such containers (in normal HTML, you can apply style to I and B, and of course there's DIV). vierran45 got it to work using a table. But that's so klutzy - it's a lot more code.

This should appear as a solid grey block.
Sonsabitches! vierran45 was right: they changed the code somehow ... .
How about adding the style to a paragraph?
This should appear as a solid grey block.
Crap, that doesn't work either. Looks like, as vierran45 said, the table is the only container that now allows style attributes.
How about using style just to change font color or size?
This should be big red text.
All right, LJ. You have switched off styles for comments. You'd better have some good reason for this. (Maybe to do with the spam attacks, or something.)
