This is all telophase's fault, because she made me remember that I had done these once upon a time (ca. 1978 or 1979, as an undergrad at U.Va.).
The male model I was boasting of (the one I said could play Cho Hakkai) ... yes, he does have feet, and I can even draw feet, more or less, but he was standing on a gym mat, and his feet sank in:
I was not pleased with this one and took vengeance by transforming him into a rough facsimile of the Sub-Mariner:
Yes, we had female models too ... why do you ask, young Grasshopper?

Totally a coincidence! This was 30 years ago! (Either that, or the Man Upstairs has an even more bizarre sense of humor than we ever imagined ... .)

I figure you will be pleased with the divider bar I made for The Story (hmmm, it may be too wide for this point in the layout here):

Maybe these guys could be persuaded to make a maile-scent? They have several Pacific-influenced scents.

It's the bit that runs across his cheek, reduplicated and half of the duplicated bits "mirrored" on the horizontal axis in Photoshop, and then all joined up and the joins smoothed out.)

Date: 2008-11-11 02:57 am (UTC)The Terranova scents look interesting, but some things just make my head ache ... crap, there's a place in Provincetown that has all of their scents except Tuberose. I could have checked them out this summer. Where's my time machine ... ?

That has to have been at the ISP place ... Andrew had some wacky stories about his early days at UUNet too.
