Fangirl Friday Picspam

All the cool kids are doin' it ... like louiselux and kispexi2. So I'll spam everyone with some favorite Saiyuki pix as well!

Actually, I had the problem that my favorite pics of individual guys are picked out of group shots ... still, there were an awful lot of nice shots,and it was hard to pick.

First, a favorite shot of the whole Sanzo ikkou:

And some 58 (i.e., Gojyo and Hakkai):




 

I love this little exchange in vol. 9, at the start of the Mahjong game, because they are just so married:

Sometimes I can really sympathize with Sanzo, though. I like the picture of him in the field because he looks peaceful for once:



 

And Goku is a really sweet kid, despite what he really is. I like that fossil picture so much, I worked it into a fanfic story:

If you don't mind that I gave him a scarf (it was originally Hakkai's, in a different picture), I have that as an icon, in the final version of that batch of autumn icons I was working on.

Gorgeous choice of pics! I love that you included that scene with Gojyo being totally pwned by Hakkai's death glare.

I just loved the way that played out from the first time I saw it: Gojyo blustering and swearing and Hakkai just stares at him - and down he goes. Just caves right in ... it was so totally similar to yeah-many scenes I've seen between long-term partners, including myself and my husband!

A lot of my favorite Gojyo pictures are from the manga frames, not the color art, which is funny, because the color work is much prettier. I couldn't get a good scan of the one where Hakkai has just 'fessed up about Kanan's having been his sister and asks whether Gojyo thinks less of him for it, and Gojyo just smiles comfortingly and says "Nah, I guess some people ... go for that."

What a nice picspam... so much prettiness! I was going to say especially Sanzo, but really, they all look so good in these, I can;t even pick a favorite. Thanks for sharing!

Great icon!!

It's funny how I can't find many solo pix of Gojyo that I really like. He's so sociable - he only really looks like himself when he's reacting to someone. I like the ones where Minekura makes it look like he's flirting with the viewer!
