I started noticing the visual motifs when wedjateye, emeraldsedai and I began analyzing Vol 1. I love how they develop and how images are echoed by a clever arrangement of objects so that different things give allude to the same idea. (Beads, chess pieces, machinery ...)
I haven't seen coffeeandink's piece. Must check it out.
