I read this on Book of Faces and it made a big impression on me. As the author says, this is not for people of color. It is for white folks who are smugly convinced that racism only happens Elsehwere.

That is a really nice article, though even here the comments are illustrating a few people who utterly refuse to engage. "Hah! I think you will find that is is YOUR town that is more racist than the ones where you were pulled over!" -- Okay, and how does that relate to the point of the article, which is to illustrate that racial profiling in policing is widespread and yet easy to miss if you are white..? Sigh.
