Waterworks. Every time. If it doesn't hit me the first time she sings "Too many good men have been cut down," then the snippet of "Imagine" at the end will do it.

Lavin made her name as a humorous singer-singwriter, but the same keen eye that makes her funny songs so funny also makes her occasional serious songs sharp enough to cut.
