Manhwa Shaman Warrior?

So Amazon's little recommender program is showing me volumes of a Korean series called Shaman Warrior, by Park Joong-Ki.

Does anyone know it? Is it any good?

I've heard the first volume is lots of action action action and very little plot. (Pretty much like most other manhwa out there.)

Talk about coincidences. I was asking yesterday if anyone had read this.

Anyway, I DLed the first volume and read the first 4 chapters last night(would have read more, but it was 2:30 am)

Nice art, but so far more action and violence than story. From what I saw of the story, though it should be interesting.

I plan to order the first volume(as well as the first volumes of Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service and Banya the Explosive Delivery Man this weekend when I take advantage of rightstuf's Viz sale.

So where did you first hear about it? Now I'm curious. I'm wondering if the publisher suddenly made a big push, or it got a good review somewhere, or something.

Well, I first heard of it when it first came out, I just never got around to checking it out and forgot about it. But I was looking at a volume of Banya at the bookstore over the weekend and it had an ad for Shaman Warrior in the back and I was reminded.

I doubt Dark Horse would do a push for it, unless it was part of a big push for all their titles, as it's been out for a while.
