So I've been reading things, but you don't know that because I haven't been writing about them.

Also, does anyone want to talk about the final four volumes of Samurai Deeper Kyo? I think it would be pretty hard to sum them up without spoilers, but I'd enjoy talking with anyone else who's just finished the series.

Wait, Bamboo Blade is shoujo? I've only read one volume (vol 2) but I had it pegged as shounen.

I read most of the final volumes of SDK in a combination of scans/raws+trans ages ago, but haven't read the last 6 licensed volumes yet.

Well, shoujo is my guess. Although I see it was published in a seinen manga. I'm so confused. (And you can't edit a poll.)

The presence of the boy characters is insignificant, the fanservice in the actual story (as opposed to the color extras, which were immensely disappointing to me when I found them online) is minimal (especially compared to, say, SDK), and a lot of the storyline has to do with the girls, their interactions, their issues at school, and their interactions with their families.

So why would it be shounen? It's the girliest thing I've read in manga since Ouran.

I guess I really don't understand the categories!

Did you read the ebook version of Crown Duel or the printed book? I'm asking because the ebook version has outtakes from Vidanric's point-of-view after the story itself.

Also, a vote for Samurai Deeper Kyo - although I have only bought the anime, not the manga (so obviously don't know the real end).
