Erev Yom Kippur

This evening (erev) is the beginning of Yom Kippur.

For sins against God, observation of the Day of Atonement can gain a person forgiveness, but for sins against another human being, the Day of Atonement is not enough: one must gain forgiveness from the person who has been injured.

May anyone who is observing the holiday have an easy fast.
