I am wearing flipflops! Because I can!

Backstory: Went to work wearing a 3/4-sleeve cotton sweater, cords, and leather oxfords with socks. Was much too hot most of the day. Presumably the building temperature will rebalance eventually to suit the more moderate temperatures.

Still in boots and winter coat but hell, it's Canada. High 50F tomorrow; shall take the canoe to work, I think, with all the snow ramparts melting.

Spring is coming! It wasn't warm enough here for me to wear flip flops, but temperatures were well above freezing and the sun was out. Since my apartment is still chilly, I was wearing two layers of clothing -- a jersey camisole and a thick pullover -- and wound up leaving my Polartec jacket in the car while I ran errands because I was way too hot with it on.
