This is all telophase's fault, because she made me remember that I had done these once upon a time (ca. 1978 or 1979, as an undergrad at U.Va.).

The male model I was boasting of (the one I said could play Cho Hakkai) ... yes, he does have feet, and I can even draw feet, more or less, but he was standing on a gym mat, and his feet sank in:

 

I was not pleased with this one and took vengeance by transforming him into a rough facsimile of the Sub-Mariner:
