This is all telophase's fault, because she made me remember that I had done these once upon a time (ca. 1978 or 1979, as an undergrad at U.Va.).

No, I don't think I did smell the real deal. (C&E keep discontinuing things I like - I loved their green, transparent Ginger Twist soap. Pretty much the only thing I buy from them these says is the Avocado triple-milled soap.)
Maybe these guys could be persuaded to make a maile-scent? They have several Pacific-influenced scents.
