Yea for Kate Wolf! Her Gold in California is one of my favorite albums. I'm always thrilled to realize that someone else has heard of the musicians I enjoy.

I'm not sure why I'm feeling so nostalgic for the folk experience tonight! How about some Stan Rogers? Do you like him? I'm listening to his "Canol Road" right now - not exactly relaxing ... .

I love some Stan Rogers. I don't think I've hated any of his stuff that I've heard. There are a few songs that I don't tend to seek out because I don't want to be depressed.

I've been doing shuffle by album on my iTunes. There's some stuff in there that I forgot I had and that I'm not sure why I have.

Oh, yes - Stan could be overly realistic and sometimes downright bitter. Now I have "Lies" up - but that one actually ends sweetly. I'm sure I'm going to tear up at the last lines.

I have an empty iPod sitting here. The last time I started trying to load it, my CD drive conked out. The Mr. said it was my fault for putting a Culture Club CD into it ... .

I have an empty iPod, too. Unfortunately, I think it's broken. It's used and was a Christmas present. I wanted to put audiobooks on it for walking on the treadmill (it's hard to hold a book while walking). I keep getting errors that say that the iPod can neither be written to or read from.

I'd have put some music on there, too.
