JACKHAMMERING !!! Right Outside my WINDOW !!!
They're working on the playground again ... .
It's even worse than it sounds: my office is about 3 feet below the grade in the courtyard, so the jackhammering is right about at shoulder level when I'm sitting at my desk - about 8 feet behind me and through a single layer of safety glass.
The guy who's doing it isn't wearing any ear protection, either.

Well, after doing that long enough, he'll have developed natural ear protection, in a strange sort of sense. XD

I found myself wondering about whether they were unionized employees ... usually on the construction sites around here, you see signs in both English and Spanish about wearing earmuff/headphone thingies when using that sort of equipment! When they got really near the window, my desk was shaking.
