And Del Rey included Kamijyo-sensei's pencil-only postscript, which I had seen online and in the Japanese original that telophase snagged for me! I am very, very pleased!

Also, I found 20th Century Boys vol. 9 and Bamboo Blade vol. 5.

(I had a very nice and yet very awkward conversation at the Borders manga section with an androgynous teen who was over 6 gangly feet tall, clad in jeans, a black camisole, strappy red suede fingerless gauntlets, black-and-red head wrap, and long dangly crystal-red-and-black earrings. I think the awkwardness was simply because we were both shy.)

Ah, cool. I haven't read the last few volumes release stateside yet-partly because I've read most of it in scans/raws, and partly because of a general shounen burnout-but I've been waiting for this. Now to resist the urge to drop a small fortune as Del Rey's rereleases come out, as they're both more attractive and would suit my need to have a matching set.

LOL! Can you maybe put the two Del Rey ones on the next shelf so they're not quite with their un-matched fellows?

The translation seems better in this last volume, too, although it's a little jarring in other ways. Kyo's been calling Yuya "Dog-face" for 36 volumes, and now all of the sudden it's "pug-face," which might have more of the originally intended flavor, for all I know, but what a switch ... .

Oooh, are they going to be re-releasing the whole series? I hadn't heard that. I know they're going to be bringing out Code Breaker, though.

Oh yay, how wonderful that Del Rey included the postscript! I always worry that sort of stuff will be lost in English publication. It's so nice to be pleasantly surprised.

Androgynous Teen sounds very interesting-looking; I wouldn't mind a pair of red suede gauntlets myself... perhaps I shall have to figure out how to make some. ^^

He was a cute character, that kid. He had questions about Loveless. He likes shoujo vampire manga and schoolgirl yuri ... . Right now, I can't see wearing anything like those gloves myself!

... did I know you were reading SDK? (My brain is not the best lately.) I love to talk about it, but since sanada went on to other things, I haven't had much chance.
