Well, a cynical part of me notes that a lot of these bigoted people are my age or older, so they'll start dying off soon ... but I'd sure like to see my gay friends and colleagues able to marry before I kick off myself!
*hangs head in shame* Sorry. I don't have that problem over here about gays/lesbians being able to marry, and my brother's godfather had a 'civil partnership' a few years ago. And there is some parts of me that wish that these people would die off sooner because I don't think my Dad could take any more of the racial tension in Scotland that appears to be in his generation, so that my generation, the less racial and discriminative generation, can take over. But then I'm not being very nice and rational. Silly me.
