The Philosopher's Flight got somewhat iffy for me when all the melodrama about the Republicans Trenchers and the assassinations was reaching a fever pitch. Something about the way that the Trenchers and their activities were depicted didn't work for me. The early stuff about the Trenchers seemed very real and chilling, so I'm not sure where it fell apart for me.
