Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close had a very interesting style to it, and a pretty good story...I'm not sure if I actually enjoyed it though. I walked away not really feeling like I wasted my time reading it, but not feeling satisfied, exactly, either.

The Night Circus is still in my "To Read" pile, so I can't help you there. (My stepmom really hated it...but she read it for a book club, and I'm pretty sure it's not the kind of book she would just choose to read on her own - not to her taste, you know what I mean?)
